In a world drowned by water, humans have fled aboard immense flying ships, traveling through the skies in search of islands of land hidden beyond the clouds. Asthar, a child plagued by recurring dreams, sees his life turned upside down the day a dragon crashes into his city-ship. Having witnessed the final moments of this winged god, he is marked with a stigma that will lead him on a journey to the ends of the earth.

A little girl, cursed by a dark power that forces her to inflict nightmares on anyone who approaches her, is sentenced to death by her village. But just as she is about to be drowned, her power awakens… The gods do not seem to have abandoned her.
